Caffé Culture 2015

The Caffe Culture Show, the UK’s leading knowledge sharing event for the café and coffee community returned to London Olympia this May, and of course, The Hubbies were there to experience it all! With live demos, informative seminars, and an abundance of independent roasters and artisan food suppliers to meet, operators and visitors alike were totally immersed in café culture during the two-day event.

For the third consecutive year, The Hub was on hand to support our client DaVinci Gourmet, who returned to the exhibition this year showcasing recipes from its tantilising Taste of Summer campaign, which includes eight all new flavor combinations, perfect for operators to add to their menus over the warmer months. Leading barista Paul Meikle-Janney from Coffee Community served summery treats behind DaVinci’s dedicated on-stand coffee bar, including signature recipes such as Coconut Mocha Frappé and Tropical Fruit Punch, getting visitors in the summer mood!

With our event management hats on, The Hub designed and built a welcoming and striking presence at the show, which proved to be a very popular stand, attracting a steady flow of visitors across everyday of the busy event. An impressive graphic backdrop synonymous with brand’s standout identity, was complimented by the available collateral; summer recipe book and frappe platform guide provided key takeaways for customers. With positive feedback from internal stakeholders and the constant buzz of curious customers, the show was an overwhelming success for The Hub and Da Vinci Gourmet.

Walking the halls of the artisan food market it was clear fruity cocktails and alcoholic drinks had provided the inspiration behind many products on offer, from Popkakery ‘s piña colada flavoured cake pops, to raspberry daiquiri macaroons from Ganache Macaroon proving operators are creating more innovative food and beverage solutions for their customers than ever before!

Iconic brands such as Cadbury took to the Taste Experience Stage, teaching café owners how to create the perfect hot chocolate, with plenty of samples on offer for those with a sweet tooth.

The team from the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe were also out in force, sharing their wisdom in the bustling Business Theatre, offering gathered crowds of baristas a brief education in all things coffee, from where it’s grown, to how to taste the difference from blend to blend.
