Wild Fizz Kombucha launches in M Restaurants!

Last month we were lucky enough to experience a gastronomical, gut-friendly feast courtesy of our new client Wild Fizz Kombucha, who were celebrating their partnership with multi-site operator M Restaurants, with a Kombucha vs Korean themed event attended by media and influencers from across the food and drink sector.

Each dish was devised by M’s Executive Chef, Mike Reid, and served with an expertly concocted Kobucha cocktail, collaboratively created by Wild Fizz brewers, Luke and Gina, and global drink experts, Diageo.

For our first course, we were presented with Kimchi Pancakes, which were moist with a gentle heat. The dish was paired with a Blood, Sand & Kombucha cocktail- a take on the classic Blood and Sand cocktail, it included Don Julio Blanco Tequila, Red Vermouth, Blood Orange Kombucha and Orange peel, which delivered a zingy, citrus finish.

Next up, was Yook Hwei, similar to a Steak Tartare but containing soy and Korean pear, topped with an egg yolk. The intensely flavoursome dish was served alongside a delicate Bucha Collins, similar to a Tom Collins cocktail, a mix of Earl Grey Lavender Tea infused Tanqueray 10, Lemon Juice and Lavender Fields Kombucha as its main ingredients.

We then moved on to Mandu, Korean fermented chilli and spring onion dumplings, which really blew us away! Our cocktail for this course was a Bucha Storm, which perfectly complemented the spice from the dish – and was created using Ketel 1 Vodka, Bergamot Syrup, Gingers Rule Kombucha, Cucumber and Turmeric, so refreshing!

Barbecue Beef Bulgogi was up next, a marinated barbecue beef with accompaniments of Kimchi and fermented spring onion. Flavoursome and hearty, this accompanied a classic Negroni, Negrucha made up of Tanqueray 10 Gin, Dry White Vermouth, Campari, Lavender Fields Kombucha finished with a Grapefruit Slice.

To finish off the luxurious menu, was dessert; a sumptuous white chocolate ice-cream with black sesame, yuzu and matcha, made even better by a fabulous Kombucha Gimlet, a symphony of Jasmine Pearl Tea Infused Ketel 1 Vodka, Jasmine Dreams Kombucha and Jasmine Pearls for a fragrant, sweet finish to the evening.

After trying and testing this phenomenal menu, it’s no wonder the nation is going Kombucha crazy! Versatile, unique and full of health benefits, kombucha is great as an adult soft drink or perfect for mixing with your favourite tipple. We’re thrilled to be working with Wild Fizz Kombucha and can’t wait to keep enjoying this gut-friendly, deliciously organic booch!
